Absolutely! It's terrible that you had to experience all that in India - street harassment is unfortunately one of the most common forms of intimidation men use (and because Bollywood tells them it's romantic). I'd say the root of misogyny in India lies in seeing girls as an economic burden from the day they're born, but it's really a lot of factors altogether.
